Looking for an extra comic fix Sunday? Philadelphia Comic-Con has you covered.

The area’s longest running convention and longest running comic book show in the Mid-Atlantic region returns to the presidential ballroom of the Clarion Hotel and Conference Center in Essington today from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

“Since day one, our show has been fan based and fan run,” said promoter Derek Woywood. “Our local collectors are appreciative of the low cost and also the collectors who actually travel up to 4 hours one way to attend our semi-monthly events.”

Twenty-nine vendors from five states will fill the 4,500 square foot show place, offering comics from the 1930s to today, as well as graphic novels, collecting supplies, original artwork, Funko Pops and other pop culture related items.

Most dealers also actively buy and trade with the public, so this is a good opportunity to dust off some old back issues and turn them into coin.

Admission is just $3 per person and kids under 10 are free with accompanying guardian. Parking on hotel grounds is also free.
