Background: Lea Tagliaferri was born in the Overbrook section of Philadelphia. She moved to Upper Darby with her family when she was a child and still resides there. Tagliaferri is a graduate of Upper Darby High School. She co-owns the store with her mother, Nina. This month the business, which designs baskets for all occasions and is located on Darby Road, celebrates its one-year anniversary.
Best part of the job: “Making baskets and being creative.” Hobbies: Tagliaferri has enjoyed fishing for about four years and says she likes going to the shore to fish. Favorite music: She likes “all kinds” of music including Oldies and dance music.
Favorite food: “Italian food.”
Role model: “My mom.”
